Before this morning I had never heard of Smythe les Vestes. But after seeing their drool-worthy collection of jackets, I don’t think I will ever forget the brand. My favorite piece is this equestrian jacket in a wool herringbone fabric with black leather elbow patches.
Smythe focuses on precise tailoring, which is one of its biggest appeals for me. There is nothing better than a perfectly fitted jacket, and nothing worse than a sloppy one. I can’t say I’m the biggest fan of the current menswear trend, but for pieces like this I can definitely make an exception. This jacket is polished enough to finish off any outfit; simply pair it with skinny jeans and a billowy blouse or tee shirt and a long necklace.
